Opening of the deadline for the presentation of candidatures for the CFM Board of Directors

The prosperous and fruitful mandate of Daniel Sánchez Portal as Director of the Centro de Física de Materiales  (joint center CSIC-UPV/EHU) during the last 4 years is coming to an end. At the meeting of the Board of the CFM Center held on November 23, 2023, it was agreed to open the period for the submission of candidatures for the directorship. The persons running for the directorship must occupy permanent positions in the CFM.

The deadline for the submission of candidatures will be open until Saturday, December 23 at 23:59 hours.

Applications must include the candidate’s CV and a direction project analyzing their vision of the center’s situation and succinctly explaining the most important actions that they plan to undertake during their mandate. By agreement of the Center Board, the format and extension of said project will be free.

Applications must be sent by email to the Secretary of the Center Board and manager of the CFM, Amaia González Azpeitia at her address (amaia.gonzaleza@ehu.eus) with copy to CFM Management (gerencia.cfm@csic.es).

The direction board hopes to receive very good candidates from which to choose the person who will take the reins of the CFM for the next four years.
