Summary

Polymeric compounds constitute a great variety of products that can present complex supramolecular nanostructures, which determine their behaviour both in bulk and under the operating conditions of the corresponding device. In this thesis, we present the study of some nanostructured polymers in order to clarify the relationship between a given supramolecular conformation and the resulting physical properties. On the one hand, the work focuses on the characterization of the ionic displacement and polarization processes in a semicrystalline material. On the other hand, the mechanical and electrical properties of an intrinsically conductive polymer were studied, both in some induced nanostructures and in its blends with the semicrystalline material previously introduced. This study was carried out on samples in thin film configuration in view of their possible implementations in multilayer electronic devices for energy applications. The characterization of thin films was performed mainly by Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) and Broadband Dielectric Spectroscopy (BDS).
