PhD researcher Paul Dreher winner of the Master Thesis Austrian Energy Prize

Paul Lukas Dreher, currently a PhD researcher at CFM and at the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC), has recently won the  Austrian Energy Prize for his master thesis “Semi-automatic documentation of PV-plant inspections using GNSS RTK and IMU modules through multidimensional Kalman filtering“.

The work presented by Paul was done at the Austrian Institute of Technology AIT.  This prize is a recognition provided by the Association of Austrian Electricity Companies (Oesterreichs Energie) that yearly acknowledges researchers in 3 categories, which are dissertation, master’s thesis, and bachelor’s thesis.

The awards ceremony will take place next 19 and 20 of September, where the winners will have the chance to present their work.

Paul is currently researching in the field of Chemical Physics of Complex Materials at CFM and DIPC under the supervision of Miguel Moreno Ugeda. Congratulations Paul and good luck in your promising future at CFM!!
