I am a condensed matter physicist, and I work on predicting material properties using theoretical and computational methods. I enjoy studying and calculating diverse aspects and effects that quantum mechanics offers in the context of solids, like Peierl’s phases<\/a>, spin-fluctuations<\/a>, or the role of position in periodic systems<\/a>. My work often involves developing specialized in-house computational tools, and I have also contributed to the free-software codes Wannier90<\/a> and WannierBerri<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
