We are happy to announce that Garikoitz Aguirregabiria Achuteghi and Pavlo Livchak have succesfully defended their Master theses!
Garikoitz has been working over the last few months on extending the quantum corrected model (QCM) to various geometries of plasmonic dimers and defended his thesis in Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) earlier this week. He will now continue his work as a PhD student in Center for Material Physics (CFM) in Donostia – San Sebastian.
Pavlo’s thesis focused on a new design of THz antennas and was presented in CFM in July. Pavlo has returned to Ukraine now to finish his studies at Lviv Polytechnic National University.
Both theses were supervised by Javier Aizpurua and Ruben Esteban.
