- The final wavefunction Yf after photoexcitation and scattering:

f0i = Initial core level (localized in one cell)

Vrad = Incident-light perturbation potential (dipole approximation)

Tj = Scattering Matrix of j-cell

Gem = Green function of the cell from which photoemission takes place

G0 = Free-electron Green function (if there is no hole)
