Entangled photons at the nanoscale
Engineering spatial and polarization modes to match symmetry and resonances of nanoapertures and nanoparticles.

We investigate how entangled photon pairs interact with subwavelength structures. By tailoring the spatial and polarization structure of light, we can preserve or deliberately destroy quantum correlations after transmission through nanoapertures, enabling quantum control and sensing at the nanoscale.
