Biography
Ángel Cifuentes is a Researcher and Project Lead at LORTEK, working on the development and application of advanced photonic and sensing technologies.
He holds PhDs in Physics from the University of the Basque Country and in Advanced Technology from the National Polytechnic Institute (México), with research experience spanning optical sensing, fiber optics, holography, microscopy, non-destructive testing, and emerging quantum technologies.
He has participated in international research projects across academia and industry and currently leads and contributes to R&D initiatives focused on bringing promising technologies into practical solutions for industrial and aerospace applications.
