Biography
Oscar Gonzalo is an Industrial Engineer from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), where he also obtained a PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2013 and an Executive MBA in 2015.
He has been working at Tekniker since 2001, where he has held roles as a researcher and as project manager for national and international R&D projects. He is currently part of the Technology Transfer unit and is responsible for the Space and Defence sectors.
Earlier in his career at Tekniker, he worked in the Advanced Manufacturing Technologies unit and later in the Mechanical Engineering unit.
His current work focuses on transferring advanced technologies into practical solutions for the space sector, including activities related to Earth observation, in-situ resource utilisation, space robotics and in-orbit servicing.
