Unai Muniain has joined our group as a new PhD student!
Unai obtained his bachelor’s degree in physics in the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Last September he finished his master’s degree in Quantum Science and Technology, in UPV/EHU too, where he analyzed how quantum fields evolve in a de Sitter universe within a semiclassical approximation. In our team, he will work analyzing quantum effects in surface optical excitations, using mostly ab-initio calculations.
