Summary
In this thesis, the candidate explored different aspects of the interaction between superconductivity and magnetism in mesoscopic systems.
His research covers studies of spectral and transport properties of superconductors with magnetic impurities and magnetic chains, as well as the study of ferromagnetic insulator-superconductor systems for detector applications, and of a superconducting phase battery using materials with strong spin-orbit-coupling.
