Being a joint initiative between “Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas” (CSIC) and “Universidad del País Vasco / Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea” (UPV/EHU), CFM’s transparency is governed and ensured by those transparency policies of our two fundamental institutions, which can be found in the following links.

Nevertheless CFM has been awarded by the Basque Government as a Basic Excellence Research Center (BERC) through the MPC association, which is responsible for building and sustaining the public trust through the transparency of the processes and the accountability of both, the association and the CFM.

REGULATION

MPC was established on April 3, 2009, as a Research Association and operates under Spanish and Basque legislation, and specifically under the 7/2007 Act of Associations of the Basque Country.
