Opening of CFM building and gradual reincorporation of CFM staff

Published: March 16, 2020

Following the orders from UPV/EHU rectorate (SPANISHBASQUE) and the recommendations from CSIC to reduce to the minimum the number of people working in the Institute premises, CFM building was closed in March 16.

Recently, and following the general recommendations, CFM has opened its premises and has started with the gradual reincorporation of the staff, defining a very organized and restricted working scheduled, in agreement with the security measures provided by UPV/EHU.

This new phase, began with the reincorporation of the experimental researchers, followed by some administrative personnel and other services.  Theoretical research staff will remain at home as well as most of the services.

Even if all on-site activity at CFM was temporally suspended, all CFM personnel remained working, although in different conditions, at home. CFM direction is still highly recommending teleworking, and will try to give an answer to the special circumstances each member of CFM might address.  Administration/outreach/computing personnel have been and are reachable and operative, as well as the research staff.

Thank you very much for your understanding and patience in such an unusual situation.

Do not hesitate to contact anyone in case you need it.

See you soon
